The Tay, Smith and Cooper families announce, with profound sorrow, the passing of their brother, uncle, father, grandfather, cousin, and nephew Eric B. Cooper. This sad event occurred at his home on the morning of Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
Eric is survived by his loving sisters and brothers, Sophie Cole-Konuwa (Alfred), Annie Cole-Cooper (Albert), Oscar Cooper, George Cooper, William Cooper, Allen Cooper, Elvin Cooper, Sharon, Kebbeh, Lucille, Florence, Margerie, Agnes, Sylvia; two daughters, Jessica and Erica; son, Jonathan; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives in Liberia and abroad. He is predeceased by his mother, Leona G. Tay, father Sammy B. Cooper Sr.; wife, Elizabeth Dick, and brothers Simeon B. Cole, Maurice Cooper, Ben Cooper, Roger Cooper, Charles Cooper, and Sammy B. Cooper Jr.
Eric is remembered as a loving and caring family member, trusted friend and dedicated professional.
