 Mrs. Emma Leamu Jensen Cooper
The Cooper, Gibson and Addy families announce with sadness the death of Mrs. Emma L. Jensen Cooper. This peaceful transition occurred at her home in College Park, MD on Thursday morning, May 9th. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by her children: Grace El-Habiby, Louise Gibson Addy, Joseph B. Cooper, Margaret L. Cooper, Benjamin D. Cooper and Randolph N. Cooper, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Priscilla Borsay Payne and Elsie Guwor, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Emma was a beautiful and kind hearted soul. She was a mother, (Ma Emma) to everyone she met. During her last days, she constantly praised and thanked God, gave everyone her blessings, and thanked them for everything they had done for her. She will be missed and her memories will always be with us.
