The Collins, Elliott, Gardner, Urey, and Neufville families announce with heavy hearts the homegoing of their beloved father, uncle, grandfather, cousin, and friend Benjamin Too Collins Jr. B.T., as he was affectionately called, went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2017.
B. T. was born unto the union of Judge Benjamin T. Collins Sr. of Bonoway, Firestone and Jane Tiade Elliott-Collins of Rocktown, Maryland County, Liberia.
He is predeceased by his parents, his brother John Elliott Gardner, sisters Ada Collins and Louise Urey, as well as his daughter Benetta Collins.
B. T. leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memory eight children: Frank T. Collins, Benrus T. Collins, Lamie Edward Collins (Konah), Ada Collins-Taylor (Kedrick), Daniel S. Collins, Jane T. Collins-Colding (Russell), Benjamin T Collins III, and Natividad Collins-Wumah (Edward); his nieces and nephews: Dorothy Hopkins, Clemenceau Urey (Anna), Annabel Urey-Tingba, Henrique Urey (Marilyn), Felecia Urey-Gaye (Samson), Edward Elliott, John Gardner (Linda), Irene Gardner, Omega Gardner Gray, Kamah Gardner, a slew of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives in Liberia and the United States.
