With
blessed assurance, his family announces the
death of Hon. Simeon B. Cole, Jr., which occurred
on September 27, 2010 in Monrovia, Liberia.
Simeon was the Assistant Minister of Foreign
Affairs for European Affairs. His parents, Simeon
B. Cole, Sr. and Adelaide Johnson Cole, and
his siblings, Mariam, Allen Tom and "SB"
predeceased him. He is survived by his widow
Ruthie S. Cole; children: Simeon B. Cole III,
Joanna S. Cole and Simone Cole; grandchildren:
Jordan Akoi Monk and Termone Konnah; his sisters:
Annie Cole Cooper and Sophie Cole Konuwah, several
aunts including Mrs. Enid Benson, and many other
relatives and friends.
Services
of Holy Vigil over his remains will be held
at Trinity Cathedral on Friday, October 22,
2010 from 6:00-9:00pm and a Requiem Mass of
the peaceful repose of his soul will be held
at the same church at 10:00am on Saturday, October
23, 2010, followed by internment.
