MRS.
CAROLINE M. COLE
The
Thomas and Cole families in conjunction with
the B.W. Harris Episcopal High School family
announce the victorious and joyous home going
of Mrs. Caroline Modupeh Thomas-Cole. Teacher
Cole, Aunty, CC, and small Ma, as she was affectionately
called, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday,
January 21, 2010, at the Mt. Carmel Saint Anns
Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.
Mrs.
Cole was a dedicated school teacher. She was
a former Principal of Trinity Parish School
before it became B.W. Harris Episcopal High
School. She also taught at Demonstration Elementary
School, Daniel E. Howard and the Newport Street
Junior High Schools.
Fraternally,
she was Past Matron of the Order of Eastern
Star, Martha Chapter, Monrovia, Liberia.
She
leaves to mourn her loss her children Comfort
Cole-Kenneh (Foday), Dora Cole Ernst (Solomon),
Caroline Modu Cole, Clifford Robinson (Mai),
Oretha Shobayou (Wilson) Leo Barclay (Maude),
Victoria Robinson (George); her niece, Joyce
Herring (Hilton), her granddaughters: Barbara
Brown Turton (Vincent); Precious Lakis (Nabil);
and a host of relatives here in the United States,
The United Kingdom and Liberia. Her husband
Thomas Valentine Cole predeceased her.
Her
home going celebration will be as follows:
