It is with profound sadness that the Clements, Metzger, and Tolbert families announce the transition of their beloved husband, compassionate father, protective brother, fatherly uncle, and loyal friend, the Honorable Henry Anthony Clements III. He departed these temporal shores surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 24th at 5:13 PM in Laurel, Maryland, USA.
In a beautiful lifetime well-lived, he faithfully served his community and was a pillar of strength to his family and friends. His kind and loving demeanor will forever be treasured and remembered. Henry was also a proud and dedicated member of the Benjamin F. Chisholm Lodge #20 of Hiram Grand Lodge, Jurisdiction Maryland.
Mr. Henry Anthony Clements III leaves to cherish his memories his wife Maa-yon Metzger Clements; children: Gregory F. Clements, Siatta Tekpor-Logan, Hawa E. Metzger, Sekou A. Clements IV, Georgette P. Harris, DeContee D. Clements, George P. Harris; grandchildren: Stephanie N. Ripai, DeContee P. Logan, Eugai Victor Logan, Legeon G. Walker, Leila W. Walker, Fabian R. Clements, Dickson Tombakai Sekou Kanneh (DJ), Franchesca E. Clements, and Isaiah Siaka Harris; sister Francia Hurley-Ricks; brothers I. Rimisa Williams, Jr. and Othello Barrolle; the Benjamin F. Chisolm Lodge #20; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. May his soul rest in Perfect Peace and Light Perpetually Shine upon him.
