Bud, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, devoted and trusted friend; Although you are Physically gone from us, the fond precious memories and bond we share will always remain with us until We meet again. Fly high with God Buddy….fly high in God’s everlasting arms!

The families of Mrs. Sophia E. Williams-Verdier (Jerry), Glen Clarke, and Grady Milton announce with heartfelt grief and profound sadness the untimely death of their beloved, cherished son, father, brother , uncle, cousin, confidant and trusted friend, Bud Eustatius Clarke. “Buddy”, as he was affectionately called, transitioned from labor to rest in the afternoon of Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the University of Chicago Hospital. Buddy was a Merchant Marine for over 15 years, and worked with Calumet River Fleeting in Chicago, IL until his untimely death.

Buddy leaves to mourn his loss his cherished mother, Sophia E. Williams-Verdier (Jerry), father, Glen Clarke, his Papa, Grady Milton, 5-month old son, Murphy Bud Clarke, adopted daughter, Kashanti Woods, girlfriend, Shawanna Turner: sisters; Blossom A. Thomas-Ledlum (James), Glenda Clarke-Webb: Brothers; Josue Glen Clarke, Blake Ayi Merriam: Aunts; Beatrice Love (Samuel), Hester Williams-Catakaw (Miller), Shirley Williams-Awodji (Kenneth), Roseline Williams, Irma Clarke: Uncles; Rev. Levi C. Williams (Kerry), Dr. Garfee Williams (Korto), Eugene Williams (Ellen), Adolphus Williams (Ellen), Nehemiah Williams (Regina), and Godmother, Theresa Brown.

Buddy was predeceased by his baby son, Zion Clarke, Grandparents, Rev. Levi C. Williams Sr., and Georgia N. Williams: Uncles: Lauvette A. Williams and Murphy Williams; A host of cousins, aunties, uncles, relatives and friends.

****Buddy’s Body will be flown to Maryland for Internment on Saturday, April 13, 2019
