C. Leona Chesson
The Chesson, Tucker, Johnson, and Massaquoi Families with broken hearts, yet thankfulness, announce the passing of our beloved, C. Leona Chesson. She departed this temporal world to be with the Lord on January 19, 2018, at the Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland.
C. Leona leaves to cherish her memory: her sisters, Amy Ba and Ayele Ajavon-Cox, and her children: Wendell Chesson, Mozart A. Chesson, Alhaj A. Azziz (Princess), Yvette N. Chesson-Gibson (Chauncy), Charles Hoffman, Pschopelia M. Chesson-Wilkins, Jefferson Rodney Chesson (Karen), Rouchell H. Chesson, Sr., Wilhelmina Chesson Versini (Eugene), Cora Chesson, Rudolph Chesson (Rachael), Jeanette Chesson, Tos Chesson (Patricia), Verlyn Chesson Porte (Wulwyn), Venetta Chesson-Neufville, J. Jefferson Chesson (Roseline), J. Jawah Chesson (Beatrice), Jackie Chesson Alpha (Harry), Joselle Chesson; and a host of grand and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children: J. Jefferson Chesson Jr., Gaynelle Chesson, and Kamah Chesson.
