Mary Sia Kromah Taylor Brown

I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith- 2 Timothy 4.7

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Kromah, Bundoo, Younger, Amara, Blamasah, Viskinda, Brown, Anderson, and Taylor families announce the death of our beloved mother, wife, aunt, sister, cousin and friend Mary Sia Kromah Taylor Brown. The sad event occurred at Hamilton Grove Rehabilitation Center on October 31, 2020 in Hamilton New Jersey.

She is survived by her husband Leonard Brown; son Eddie Taylor Jr III (Alice). Daughters Joyce Marietta Taylor, Jamesetta (Jungo Girl) Taylor, Annie Taylor Kamara. Grandchildren Dominique, Ashley, Telfi, and Eddie Taylor Jr. IV. Brothers- James Blamasah, James S. Kromah, Minah Koromah(youngest brother in Sierra Leone); Sisters/in-laws- Adeline Anderson, Otie Blamasah, Atmounia Taylor Merritt. Nieces including-Gema Gray, Beatrice JayJay, Musu and Hawa Amara, Dr. Veronica Blamasah-Kratee (George), Phenda Varne, Yawah Viskinda- Edgerton (Frank), Cecelia Blamasah. Grand-nieces- Shania, Eve, Cecelia, Sarah, and Abigail Blamasah, Gabrielle Kratee. Nephews including-Sawie Blamasah (Julie), James Macarthy (Samria) (Sierra Leone) James and Henry Kromah, Christian and Patrick Anderson; her beloved Uncle Elijah Bundoo (Martha, Kumba), Cousins Theresa Duarnyenneh, Matu Davis, Rev. Edmond Johnson (Janet), Etta Phillips Freeman, Marie Perry, and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the United States.

She was predeceased by her father Henry Fayah Kromah, mother Masia Parker Rogers, sister Cecelia Kromah-Heilman, brother Milton Sah, Uncle James Amara, sister Jenneh Viskinda and niece Catherine Viskinda.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.

In lieu of contributions, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society for colon cancer research in her name- Mary S. Brown.

Due to Covid 19 and associated restrictions,  the maximum capacity for the service is 25 people in the funeral home, but there is no limit currently for the gravesite. If the lockdown is extended,  the maximum capacity will be 5 people at the funeral home. All attendees must wear a mask and observe ALL CDC guidelines and protocols.
