 Berverly T. Elious Brooks
March 24, 1958 – August 20, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we the Brooks, Elious, and Olowa families announce the passing of our beloved Beverly T. Elious-Brooks; a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, community and church leader. This sad event occurred at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia on August 20, 2019. She leaves to mourn her five (5) children: Ridchell A. Padmore-Olowa (Liberia), Patterson A. Padmore (Canada), S. Jojo Padmore (Canada), Willis F. Dennis (USA) and Bervina W. Brooks (Liberia); four (4) brothers: Matthew Elious, Bobby Elious, and Fred Elious (USA) and Christian Sworr (S.Korea); four (4) sisters: Irene Elious-Dixon (Liberia). Margery Elious-Seton (USA), Judy Elious-Nyangbe (Belgium), Janet Elious (Sweden), two (2) grand children, several foster children, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members.
The Wake Keeping & Funeral Services are as follow:
Removal of the remains - Thursday, September 19,2019 @ 3PM. The body will be removed from the St. Moses Funeral Parlor and taken to Point Four Junction where the parade will commence & the body will be taken to the compound of her home in New Kru Town. All night wake keeping!
Funeral Service - Friday September 20, 2019 @ 10am.
The funeral Service will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in New Kru Town.
Burial will take place in Virginia at the Brooks Family's Grave Yard where her husband was buried.
Repass will be held at the Brewerville Town hall in Brewerville City.
