Joseph Zangar Bright, Sr.

This is to announce the home-going of our darling husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend Mr. Joseph Zangar Bright, Sr.  This sad event occurred on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10 am at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA after a brief period of illness.  He is survived by his wife Mrs. Victoria E. Bright, his children Mrs. Pypu B. Bright-Rennie, Mrs. Charlesetta Reeves (Wynslow), Mr. Joseph Zangar Bright, Jr. (Victoria), Mr. Robbie Kangar Bright (Kelege), Mrs. Martha Tarr-Gardiner (Dash) and Mrs. Judith Frempong (George), grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wake-keeping services in the United States will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church,
12621 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, MD 20904 on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 6 pm (all tributes will be done at the wake).  Last rites will be performed at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10 am.

His body will be flown to Liberia on April 10, 2013.  Removal from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlor will be at 4 pm on Friday, April 19, 2013 and taken to the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church on Broad St. Monrovia, Liberia for a night of wake-keeping (all tributes will be done at the wake).  Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church.  Interment will be at the family plot in the Township of Louisiana, Montserrado County.
