THEODOSIA DUMOE BOYOU

November 10, 1954 – April 27, 2020

The Dumoe, King, Harris and Boyou families announce the calling from labor to rest of Theodosia Dumoe Boyou who was originally from Suakoko, Bong County, Liberia, West Africa. She suddenly took her spiritual flight on Monday, April 27, 2020, at the Taylor Hospital located in Chester Township, PA. USA. “Theo or Sally ” as she was affectionately called was born on November 10, 1954 in the city of Suakoko, Bong County Liberia, West Africa to the union of the late William S. Dumoe. and the Tamah K. Dumoe; also of Suakoko, Bong County, Liberia. Her late father William S. Dumoe was a brother of the renown Madam Suakoko and he was a cousin of the late Josephine Beatrice Lewis Harris. From a young age, Theo lived with her aunty Josephine and Uncle Melville F. Harris, Sr.; both of whom predeceased her as well as her brothers David, Richard, Augustus, and others indicated below.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Marco G. Boyou, Emmanuel G. Boyou, Thomas G. Boyou and Pocarle G. Boyou, (Step children: Nyhan Speed Boyou, Sadia K. Boyou, Boima Z. Boyou Jr., Somo Y. Boyou-Davis, Joseph W. Boyou and ex-husband, Boima Z. Boyou Sr.) all of Philadelphia, PA; twelve grandchildren; brothers and sisters including Martin Dumoe, Jonah Dumoe, Danie Dumoe, Robert Dumoe, Lorpu Borvor, Sinneh Harris, Rebecca Dumoe Scott,  Angelyn Dumoe Harris, David Dumoe Harris*, Augustus Dumoe Harris* Charles Dumoe*, Richard Dumoe Balamou*, Napoleon Dumoe, Elizabeth L. Youn*, Albert F. Harris*, Melville F. Harris, Jr, Hannah TWH Peterson*, Charles B. Harris, Sr., Melvilla M. Harris Noibi, William E. Harris, William BGK Harris; Emma M. Gblee, Elizabeth Randell; nieces Korto Babara Harris Parker, Eunice Garpue, Koule Mason; nephews including Karr Oliver Pappi Harris*, Andrew Harris; older cousins including Joseph Gblemele, Amelia Brown, many relatives and friends in Liberia, Guinea and the United States of America. May her soul rest in the bosom of Jesus Christ.

The remains of Theodosia Dumoe Boyou is at the Talbert Funeral Home in Chester Township, PA. Due to the COVID-19 virus crisis and travel restrictions in the USA, it has been difficult making the funeral arrangements. A limited service will we held on May 30, 2020 and a later memorial service will be held when things are better concerning the virus. When more details are available, this TLC announcement will be updated accordingly.
