Mrs. Sophie Collins Blidi

With heartfelt reminiscence, but overwhelming celebration, the Blidi, Banks, Krakue and Pearson families announce the home-going of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, and cousin, Mrs. Sophie Collins Blidi. This peaceful departure occurred on Thursday, September 19, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, North Carolina.

Sis Sophie, as she was commonly called, was a devout Christian and a strong woman of God. Through the years, she worked along with her husband, preaching the gospel, building churches, and teaching Bible schools. As a Woman of God, Sophie impacted the lives of thousands around the world, including several thousand in her native country Liberia. With her prayer ministry, Sis Blidi was able to build a strong network of prayer warriors.

Mrs. Sophie Collins Blidi is survived by her beloved Husband, Mr. Alfred Blidi, her three beautiful daughters: Ruth, Love and Samuel Blidi. Her Grandchildren: Blessing and Beatrice Taytuh. Her sibling: Sandra, Oach, Edwin, Harriett, Joyce, Shelia, Emmanuel, etc. Her aunts and uncles: Pricilla, AC, Mr. & Mrs. Krakue, Grace, and Paul, and a host of other relatives and friends in the US and in Africa.
