It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Barmoh, Blai, Glasco, Parker and Smallwood families announce the death of our beloved widow, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend, Mrs. Louise Letcontin Johnson-Blai, who was commonly called “Con-Lou” or “Lettie.”

This sad event occurred on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:30 p.m. at the Autumn Care of Norfolk in Norfolk, VA. She is survived by her children - Lindell Blai, Dwayne Blai (Tsega) and Yvette Blai-Lucy (Chris), three (3) grandchildren – Immanuel Blai, Grace Blai and Noah Blai, two (2) brothers - Mr. Saadai P. Barmoh (Maryann) (USA) and Mr. Ernest K. Barmoh (Beatrice) (Liberia), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was predeceased by her father - Oldman Bargebo Barmoh, her mother - Ma Tetee Gbayonor and her husband - William C. Blai. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercies of God rest in perfect peace.

As a result of COVID-19, there will be no viewing of the body.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Joseph Jenkins, Jr. Funeral Home at 2011 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Interment will follow the service at Mount Calvary Cemetery – 1400 S. Randolph Street, Richmond, VA 23220.

Due to the COVID-19 restriction, attendees are limited to twenty (20) persons - to be selected by the children. Everyone must wear masks in the funeral home and observe all protocols during the service. The CDC restriction will affect seating capacity in the funeral home. However, the funeral service will be streamed live on LRTN via Google, YouTube, and Facebook (Log in to LRTN – Liberian Radio & Television Network).
