With saddened hearts, the Benjamin, Gomes and Martin families announce the home-going of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Hubert Walcott Benjamin, Sr.
This sad event occurred on Saturday, January 4th 2014 at the Richmond University Medical Center on Staten Island, New York, after a protacted illness.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his unconditional love his wife, Esther L. Benjamin. Mourning his loss are his children, Frank Leslie, Hubert Walcott, Jr. (aka Hue), Harriet Claudine, James Edward (aka JE), Florence, Rosalyn Perrine Mayme (aka Lyn), Debra Estene (aka Peaches), Sheila Victoria (aka Vikki), Cleopatra Denise, Hassan Carl, Emile John Kish, James Robert, Albert Walcott and Yor-El Francis; Walcott currently has twenty-nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Saddened by his death are his sisters, Hyacinth, Marilyn, Evelyn and Sheila, and scores of other family members and friends in Antigua, Liberia, England, the United States and other countries.
