Mr. John Thomas Bass
This is to announce the death of Mr. John Thomas Bass, commonly called J.T. He died on January 16, 2018 at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia after a protracted period of illness. Mr. John T. Bass was born unto the union of Mr. Tarphis and Mrs. Mary Bass on February 12, 1945 in the City of Arthington, Monsterrado County, Liberia.
He worked at the Ministry of Information where he rose to the position of Assistant Minister of Culture and Tourism until he was pensioned by the Government of Liberia. He later worked with the Liberia Communication Network (LCN) from 1997 to 2003.
He leaves to mourn his wife Mrs. Christine E. Bass, his children Laurietta Bass, Mrs. Barbara Bass Jackson, John T. Bass, Jr., Theophilus Bass, Joseph T. Bass and his daughter Satta Bass who predeceased him.
Funeral service over the remain of Mr. John T. Bass, Sr. will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Grace Baptist Church in the Township of Barnersville and interment will follow in the Township of Arthington, Monsterrado County, Liberia
