 Dinah Browne-Barr
The Barr, Browne and Chesson families wish to inform family members and the general public about the home going of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mother Dinah Browne-Barr, formal Director of Home Economic and Nutrition Ministry of Agriculture, Professor of Nutrition University of Liberia, everybody's mother and grandma, and the back bone of the Henry/Bertha Chesson Clan. Born March 21, 1938, Mother Barr departed peacefully on October 21, 2020 to join her loving husband of 53 years Mr. James Beyan Barr Sr., kids Kebeh Cooper (Nathaniel) Koffa and James Beyan Barr Jr., siblings; Richard (Louise Wright) Browne, Emmanuel (Myalan Keita) Browne and Jamesetta Bryant (the late Thomas) Holmes.
Left to celebrate her life are her children; Hector (Morie Brisbane) Wuor, Dedeh Barr (William) Kesselly, Maurice (Dekonti Brown) Barr, Maimu Browne, Daniel Koffi Swee, (list of children so long please forgive me), multitude of grand and great grand kids. Her siblings Olivia Browne (Arnold) Hill, Miriam Browne, Adeline Bryant (Late David) Chea, and Eliza Clark (Diora) Toklah.
Dinah will be put to Rest on Thursday October 29th with removal from Samuel Stryker Funeral Home at 8 am, wake/funeral at 10 am at Cartwright AME Zion in Brewerville, internment at 2 pm at the Chesson Family Cementary with repast to follow at Grandma's Garden in Brewerville. |
