family, relatives and friends announce the home-going
of our father, grandfather, great grandfather,
uncle, and cousin the Honorable Roland T. Barnes,
Sr., former member of the House of Representative,
Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, and
Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of
Liberia.
This
event occurred on Monday November 15, 2010 at
6:05 Post Meridian at the Lorien Hospice, Columbia,
Maryland.
Honorable
Roland T. Barnes Sr. was born on February 19,
1926 in Harper, Maryland County unto the union
of Rufus Nathaniel Barnes and Rose Watkins Barnes.
Honorable
Barnes is survived by his wife of 57 years,
Mrs. Eudora Nassau Barnes, five children, five
foster children, eighteen grandchildren and
a host of other relatives and friends.
In
lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to
the Roland T. Barnes Sr. memorial scholarship
at the University Of Liberia Law School.
