The Badawi, Yancy, Gibson and Cummings families with profound sadness announce the homegoing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Catherine Theresa Yancy-Badawi. This sad event occurred at Korlebu Hospital in Accra, Ghana.
Atta, as she was affectionately called, leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 41 loving years, George Badawi Sr.; four sons, George Jr., Anton, Carlos, and Jed; three grandchildren, Laila, Nawala and Atta, father, M. Fulton W. Yancy, Jr., siblings, cousins, and a host of relatives and dear friends. Atta’s memory as a loving wife and devoted mother will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
