Weh Attia, Sr.
August 18, 1938 - November 30, 2011
The
Attia, Johnson, and Gooding families announce
with profound regrets the passing, in his 73rd
year of their husband, father, grandfather,
brother, uncle and cousin, James Weh Attia,
Sr. This sad event occurred at the Redemption
Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia on Wednesday,
November 30, 2011 at about 7:00 P.M. following
a protracted illness.
He
leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Clara Johnson
Attia; children - Mrs. Barbara Amoldu-Dean,
Mrs. Mangee Attia-Curtis (Emmanuel), Prince
Bayogar Attia (Mona), Mrs. Yvonne Hoggard Kamara
(Mamadee), Mrs. Evelyn Attia Kendy, Alonzo W.
Hoggard, James Weh Attia, Jr., Mrs. Princess
Vonyee Attia Richards (Wilfred), Deakonti Clara
Attia, Mrs. Neijay Beatrice Attia Slewion (Stephen),
Baldwin Douglas Attia, Crystal Sayea Attia,
Johnetta Patience Monger, and Lulu Bemah; twenty
eight (28) grand children, eleven (11) great
grandchildren; siblings: Mrs. Diana Attia Gooding,
Yatta Attia and Mrs. Annie Attia Montgomery;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives
and friends.

of the body from St. Moses Funeral Home
is Friday, Dec. 16th, 2011 at 4pm. Viewing &
Wake-Keeping will be held on Friday, December
16th, 2011 at 5pm at the United Christian Ministry
First Church, New Georgia Estate Road {behind
the Nigerian Shop}, Liberia.
Funeral
Service will be held on Saturday, December
17th, 2011 at 7:30am at the same Church on New
Georgia Estate Road {behind the Nigerian Shop},Liberia.
Funeral
cortege proceeds at 9:30am on Saturday, December
17th, 2011 to ATTIA TOWN, Grand Bassa County,
Liberia for interment.
