The Appleton, Selli (Tali Wreh Selli Gbeh ju Boye) and the Johnson family announce the home going of our beloved son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather Mr. George Himmie Boye Appleton Sr. This sad event occurred on August 18th, 2012 @ 5:03 p.m. @ Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mr. George Himmie Boye Appleton was an accomplished businessman, Former Senior Inspector Liberian National police, Former Chief of Traffic Liberian National Police, Former Commandant Training Liberian National Police Academy, former Director of Procurement Ministry of Public Works, former Director of Supply Ministry of Rural Development and Former Developer and Facilitator B&M Driving School. He was born unto the union of Mr. Thomas Himmie Appleton and Mrs. Elizabeth Gbeh Selli Appleton. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Gloria Johnson Appleton his children Thomas Chunk Appleton, Elizabeth Gbeh Appleton Woryee (Robert), Jesus Sellie Appleton ( Louise), George Himmie Appleton jr., Lovette Bleede Appleton, AK Kassimu, Gabrielle Tigar Kassimu and Simeon Sehbo Appleton. Grandchildren- Jasmine Hawa Appleton, Joshua Sellie Appleton, John Bradley Kaidbey, Doris Appleton, Michael Himmie Appleton, George Tella Appleton, Aniyah Kassimu, Robert T. Woryee III, Getrude Appleton. His siblings- Alfred W. Appleton, Esther W. Appleton, Abraham K. Appleton, Larwolo Appleton, Bismarck S. Appleton, John G. Appleton, Toe Appleton, Houston G. Appleton, Charlotte K. Appleton and Guydah Appleton. His Uncles Simeon Sehbo Selli, Neymah Appleton, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Africa, Europe and the United States.
Mr. George Himmie Boye Appleton was predeceased by his father, mother, two brothers and two sisters.
