It is with profound grief and sorrow that the family of Annie Wede Williams announces the passing of our dearly beloved mother, sister, auntie, cousin, niece, grandmother and friend to many. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, CA following a brief period of illness. Unfortunately, she will be laid to rest along with her mother Annie Bannie Norris who also passed away three days after she did. She was predeceased by her father J. A. Wodo Williams, and her siblings: William Norris Jr., Roselyn Norris, Emmanuel Norris, and Thomas Williams.
Annie leaves to mourn her three children: Marlyne Wah, Nathaniel Wah (Natasha) and Gilbert Wah Sr.; 11 grandchildren: Wyiemah, Chapha, Boimah, Gilbert Jr., Sariah, Jonathan, Isis, Naya, Donovan, Nevin and Zyon, her siblings: Samuel Saryi Norris Sr. (Emily), Frances Jackson, Elizabeth Hney-Cooper (Garrison), Cecelia Bedell-Cooper (Charles), Dr. Francis Emerson Williams (Oluwatosin), Christian Kwane Williams, Joseph Williams (Rachel), Dr. Horatius Jackie Williams (Raquel), Adolphus William (Annie). Lay-girl will also be forever remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends in the United States, Liberia and other parts of the world.
