It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of our mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunty, grandaunt, cousin and friend, Mrs. Ellenda Jane Webster Ankrah. This sad event occurred at the Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey after a prolonged period of illness on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 5:11 pm. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her four Children, Ms. Massa E. Davis, Mr. Sidney W. King, Jr. (Lydia), Mrs. Louiza Reeves-Freeman. (Daniel), and Mrs. Precious E. Dixon; one foster daughter, Mrs. Frances Webster-Boimah; Sister, Sarah Webster; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces, cousins and a host of friends.                                

Mammie, Grandma, Small Aunty, Ellenda, Jane, Gaga, GG, Cousin Ellenda, Sister Ankrah as she was affectionately called, will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with her pleasant and caring personality. Her memories will linger in our hearts forever. May she sleep until she hears Jehovah’s call.
