Celebration of the life of Janet Nadu Lartey Amoo in her 95th year.

The Amoo, Lartey, and Vincent families regret to announce the death of their beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunty, and cousin, Janet Amoo. Janet peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018 at the ripe old age of 95.

She is survived by her son, Emmanuel Vincent (Matilda), daughter, Charlotte Vincent, sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Janet also leaves behind her siblings, Nora Lartey, Louise Lartey, Benjamin Dorme Lartey, and Nadu Lartey Cooper (Henry Reed). She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Daniel Amoo; her children MaryAnn Kulah (Dr. Alfred A. Kulah), Dora Johnson, and Salome Deborah (SD) Vincent Morris; siblings David Lartey, Selina Lartey, Helen Gifty Lartey Schall, and Samuel Kweku Lartey; granddaughter, Lenore Huskins, and great grandson, Terrence Kulah.

As we mourn the loss of our dearest Mama, and celebrate her life, we are comforted to know that she has joined her precious daughters and grandchildren in heavenly paradise.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends in Liberia, Ghana, and the USA.
