With heavy hearts, the Allison family announces with regret, the home going of their father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and Cousin, Mr. Henry Y. Allison. This sad event occurred on December 30, 2012 at 4:03pm, at the home of his son, Mr. Abraham Allison in Cranston, Rhode Island. The late Henry Y. Allison is survived by his eleven children ; Christiana Allison-Boyd (Liberia), Nee H. Allison (USA), James Himie Allison (Liberia), Abraham Allison (USA) , Genevieve Allison (Liberia) , Evelyn Allison (Liberia), H. Y. Allison( Liberia), Honorine Allison-Boyce (USA) , Elizabeth Allison – Collins (USA) , Jerry Y. Allison (USA) and Gray D. Allison (USA), twenty-two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives, including his ex-wife Elizabeth Doe-Allison as well as his sister and brother in Cape Palmas, Maryland county, Liberia. The late Henry Y. Allison was pre-deceased by his former wife Mrs. Martha Wallace-Allison and son Henry B. Allison.
The late Henry Y. Allison was an employee of the Ministry of Finance, and was also the Comptroller of the General Services Agency (GSA) up to 1990.
