08/26/1938 – 09/09/2023
I thought of you with love today But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday And days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have is memories And a picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake With which I’ll never part.
God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart.
It has been a year since you departed this world on September 9th, 2023 and although you are with the Almighty God, our hearts still ache from your absence.
You may be gone but will never be forgotten! We will continue to honor you and celebrate your life. Your legacy will thrive among us! Rest in Perfect Peace until we meet again.
Love you Always from your Sisters, Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and all other loved ones! |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER Mrs. Olive Alma Hill (Tamba)
07/28/1935 – 01/13/2021 Our darling and dearest mommie, we are wishing you a Happy Heavenly 89th Birthday. It has been 3 years since the Almighty God called you home. You are gone, but not forgotten.
We miss you every day, but we take comfort in the memories we made with you. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts and lives.
Mother, mom, mommie, Aunty Olive, ma Olive, Sweet Rose, and Miss Olive, are some of the names used to address you.
You lived your life helping others wherever you went. Your kindness and generosity were not only limited to your children, but to everyone you met, including total strangers. Our home had an open-door policy for all family members, their friends, including strangers you brought home because they needed help and a place to stay.
Mom, you saw goodness as being an integral part of life’s purpose. As we retrospect, we sometimes wonder if we thanked you enough for all the sacrifices you made for us. We thank you again and hope you know how much we appreciated and love you.
Rest Eternally and may the Heavenly light perpetually shine on you.
Your children: Nyanday (Chime), Etta, Kumba, Sarbium (Mariam), Finda (Bernard), John Jr. (Linda), Penkey, and Baba. Also remembering you are your grandchildren, many of whom you helped raise, your great-grand and your 2 great-great grandchildren among others. |

REMEMBERING OUR DEAREST Al GBI TOE, SR (A.K.A TOE BLAMO GBI) ON THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEATH

May 21, 2023 to May 21, 2024
Gbi, Daddy, Dad, Community Man as you were affectionately called, we your children and siblings on Earth cannot believe a year has gone by since you left us to be with your creator, parents, and other faithful departed uncles, aunties, cousins, and family members. As we mournfully celebrate one year of your departure from this Earth, it seems like only yesterday when we all were physically together.
The anniversary of your death has given us the opportunity to reflect on what you meant to us and to countless others today and for years to come. As a: 1) Life-Long Learner and Inquirer; 2) Public Servant and Pan Africanist; 3) Community Leader and Activist; 4) Man of Faith; 5) Consummate Professional; and 6) Family Conscience. You were a fertilizer that germinated abundantly wherever you were planted. Within the family circle, you were the unifier, and at the community level an organizer, historian, researcher and activist par excellence.
You devoted your life to serving, and while you never sought recognition, your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. You were very humble. Humility was the solid foundation of your life virtues. True humility is intelligently self-respect, which keeps us from thinking too highly of ourselves. It makes us modest by reminding us how far we have come short of what we can do.
Gbi, if you could hear us, we would surely tell you that your passing has created a big vacuum, especially for your children, siblings, family, and friends who interacted with and cared for you during the last year of your life on Earth. As a caring person, your kind and generous spirit brought joy and love to many lives, particularly Liberians and other nationals living in the East Coast especially Newark, New Jersey, USA.
Finally, Gbi, we want to inform you if you could hear that hile your passing has created a vacuum in the family, it has also united and brought us closer together. We miss you and want to assure you that your memory will forever be in our hearts until we meet in the great beyond.
We love you and miss you very much, Gbi
From your Children, Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. |

A Heavenly Birthday Celebration to our beloved Father
May 13, 1950-November 22nd, 2023!
Heaven holds no sad memories!
Papa, it’s May 13, 2024 and words cannot express how much we miss you. Your departure from this world is a colossal loss, but we take solace in knowing that you’re at peace with our Heavenly Father.
Today, you would have requested your favorite dish, your special bottle while listening to your favorite artists (Rev. Al Green, Pastor Shirley Ceasar, Temptations, Percy Sledge etc) and answering all of your birthday calls with your slogan, “Take Your Time”. We love and miss you so much! We will continue to stand on your legacy of love, kindness, compassion and generosity towards anyone who crosses our paths. Like you always said, “take your time and God will take care of you”, indeed, He’s taking care of us.
Happy Heavenly Birthday Papa, JBO, Take your time, Grandpa! We love and miss you!
Forever in our hearts!

MARTHA JANE GIBSON MENJOR
NOVEMBER 10,1932 - MARCH 12, 2023

Today marks 366 days since you left us. It seems like just yesterday when we were either talking with and about you or for those that were away from you, were planning the next trip to visit you.
While we planned, our heavenly father had his own plans in place.
If you could hear us now, we would tell you that your passing has surely created a vacuum in our family dynamics. While that vacuum do exist, there is also a divine grace that has brought us closer as a family and has made us appreciate and lean on each other more.
We miss you every minute of every hour but can take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place.
Through eyes of faith, we can see you sitting at the feet of Jesus leading the heavenly praise team.
We will always remember you and treasure the memories of the times we shared.
Sleep on Teteyo until that great getting up morning.
From your children, grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. |

Happy Heavenly Birthday
To our darling Aisha Jywee Mathis
December 11, 1991 – June 08, 2020
Happy Heavenly Birthday to our darling Aisha Jywee Mathis. This December 11th would have made you thirty-three years old. The evil hands of death snatched you away from us unexpectedly, at a tender age of twenty-nine years old while preparing to celebrate your 30th birthday, you left us heart broken. You reunited with your loving mother, Margaret Jywee Williams Nah in Heaven. Although you are gone, we haven't forgotten you, we love you and miss you. We remembered some of your distinctive qualities. You were beautiful, sociable, family oriented, fashionable, loved music, enjoyed dancing (especially to African music), outspoken and had an infectious smile. We wish you were here with us, but we continue to cherish those precious memories that we had with you. Rest in peace darling. When our time come, we shall meet again on that beautiful shore.
From your dearest aunt, Josephine M. Williams Abi-Rached for the family. |
