MOTHER Benetta (Tete) Johnson

John 14:1-3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."


It is with profound regret that the Johnson, McGee, Lloyd. Diggs, Junius, and Reeves families announced the home going of Mother Benetta (Tete) Johnson in her 94th year, the widow of the late George Levi Johnson this sad event occurred on January 10th, 2015 at 2: AM in route to the hospital in Paynesville, Liberia.

She leaves to mourn her death her children, Adelaide Johnson, Grace Johnson Manly, Skirving Johnson, Williette Johnson Famolu, Rose Johnson, and Charles Johnson (Cookie) Also she fostered several children. Some are Joseph Johnson, Oscar Johnson (Younnon), Moses Junius, Olive Clarke, Ruth Karnel Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson. Her sister Yette Gladys McGee, two Sisters-In-Law Williette Johnson, and Augusta Reeves Snyder one foster sister Adelaide Morris Fiske, grandchildren , great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Removal 3:00 PM

Wake is on February 6, 2015 at 7:00 PM to be held at Christ Life Baptist Fellowship, (Paynesville & Duport Rd Junction area)

Funeral Services will be held on February 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Effort Baptist Church, Paynesville ((Melvina- 656 3567, and Pastor Langford-751 5925).
