Mama Korto Jackson

“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
With heavy hearts the Jackson, Quatama and Quelimini Doo families deeply regret to announce the Home-Going of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grand mother, sister, cousin, and friend, Mama Korto Jackson.  Mama, Norto or Korto J as she was affectionately called departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 after a protracted illness.

Mama will be missed by so many.  She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Mrs. Kiapeh Jackson-Tokpa (Dr. Henrique Tokpa), Hon Ranney Banama Jackson, Sr. (Alice Kebbeh Jackson), Quatama Jackson, Garmai Jackson-Garyu (George Garyu), Phetor Jackson (Euphemia Makor Jackson),  Raymond Jackson, (Garmai Jackson), Bendu Jackson-Paye, Quapaker Jackson, Gormah Jackson-Jallah (Rev. Steve Jallah), Mommy, Damowoe, Mark, Kolleh, Dwaplay, Datuma, and Janet.  She also leaves to mourn her god sons Mr. Albert Gondo, several grand and great grandchildren and a host of relatives.  May she rest in peace and may light perpetual shine on her.
